Manzanita Lake sits under the majestic shadow of Mt. Lassen in Lassen Volcanic National Park. Originally a shallow lake formed in volcanic jumbles, later dammed by PG&E to increase storage, resulting in an average depth of 15 ft., max. and 35 ft. near creek inflow.
