AS OF 11/01/2011 THIS LAKE HAS BEEN CLOSED SINCE JANUARY 2008 DUE TO ZEBRA MUSSEL INFESTATION. UNKNOWN WHEN IT WILL RE-OPEN. Located in rolling grassy hills, this reservoir is operated seasonally by the park district. The water for this reservoir is pumped from San Luis Reservoir which causes extreme fluctuations in water level during the irrigation season. Bait & tackle, snack bar, picnic area and accessible fishing dock.
