Pronghorn Antelope Management Program
Pronghorn antelope once existed throughout the entire central valley of California. Now they are mostly found in northeastern California. The Department has made efforts to re-establish herds in central and southern California. The pronghorn management program's objectives are to maintain healthy herds, provide a variety of recreational activities and to minimize conflicts with humans.
