Program Purpose
The purpose of the Senior Volunteer Program (SVP) is to improve efficiency and productivity in the South Coast Region by using the skills of talented volunteers. These volunteers will perform tasks which support the South Coast Region law enforcement operations and the Department's mission.
While the Region will make maximum effort to utilize the skills of volunteers, it is not the intent of this program to supplant any sworn or non-sworn personnel.
