Dr. Becky Pierce

Bio in Brief

Becky M. Pierce is a predator ecologist with DFW's Sierra Nevada Bighorn Sheep Project; she also advises graduate students as an affiliate professor with the Idaho State University, Pocatello. She is also an affiliate faculty at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). She is currently working with 2 graduate students at UNR. Becky received her M.S. in zoology from the University of Nevada, Reno, and her Ph.D. in wildlife biology from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Her doctoral research focused on mountain lions and mule deer ecology in the eastern Sierra Nevada.
