INCIDENT SUMMARY Intertidal and sub-tidal mudflats are contaminated with oil and mercury from historical discharges of wastewater and stormwater runoff from the Chevron Refinery into the adjacent marsh and cove.

SETTLEMENT DETAILS The Trustess have negotiated a tentative settlement with Chevron and anticipate the funds from such a settlement will be sufficient to implement the preferred alternatives presented in the Draft DARP/EA. See Draft DARP for details.
STATUS OF RESTORATION PENDING: The public comment period for this project has been extended to January 16, 2009.
