Chronic Wasting Disease Checkpoint Scheduled Nov. 18

The Department of Fish and Game (DFG) has scheduled a Chronic Wasting Disease checkpoint in Lassen County for Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
DFG is trying to prevent chronic wasting disease from entering California and the purpose of the checkpoint is to educate the public, deter and detect fish and game violations, and to gather biological data.
