SACRAMENTO – The Department of Fish and Game’s (DFG) headquarters office for license sales is on the move. Before reopening at a new location on Nov. 6, the current License Revenue Branch office, which has been at the 3211 S St. location in Sacramento for 20 years, will be open to the public for the last time on Thursday, Nov. 2.
The office will be closed on Friday, Nov. 3, but then reopen on Monday, Nov. 6 at a new location with all normal services – such as fishing and hunting license sales, and waterfowl hunting applications – at 1740 North Market Blvd., Sacramento, CA, 95834. The main phone number at the new location will be (916) 928-5805. A map of the new location can be found at www.dfg.ca.gov/licensing/pdffiles/WBN Fall 2006 pg 2.pdf.
Members of the public should be aware that licenses will be available throughout the closure at all of the DFG’s sales offices in Eureka, Fresno, Los Alamitos, Monterey, Napa/Yountville, Rancho Cordova, Redding, San Diego and Stockton. A full listing of all DFG offices can be found at the link listed above. Also, license agents around the state will remain in service.
