Tournaments

CDFW just wrapped up the 2014 CalNASP Virtual State Archery Tournament for schools that are participating in the program. See the Tournament Results.

The Virtual State Tournament requires no travel and schools can participate by holding a special competition at their school during the dates the tournament is running. Tournament Rules apply.

Archery is a sport in which students can compete as an individual or as part of a team.

Students that compete as an individual apply personal goals and are able to evaluate improvements in their skill through challenging their own mastery.

Students competing as a team benefit by interacting with other archery students as a group and learning cooperative strategies that promote camaraderie and team building skills.

Watch for new tournament dates on this page next year and consider getting your students involved in the State Tournament.
