There are currently 4 limited entry commercial herring gill net permits in Humboldt Bay and 3 limited entry commercial herring gill net permits in Crescent City.
Quotas: Gill Net Fishery
The total Humboldt Bay quota is 60 tons.
The total Crescent City quota is 30 tons.
Season Dates
The season dates for Humboldt Bay and Crescent City fisheries remain the same each year.
Humboldt Bay: Opens January 2 at noon and closes on March 9 at noon.
Crescent City: Opens January 14 at noon and closes March 23 at noon.
