Director's Herring Advisory Committee (DHAC) Meeting
Location: Department of Fish and Game, 1416 9th Street, Room 1206, Sacramento
Time: 9:00 a.m.

Members of this Committee, made up of herring industry representatives, are appointed by the Director of the Department of Fish and Game. They advise the Department on fishery issues and proposed regulatory changes. Meetings are open to the public for observation, but opportunity for public comment is limited.

Please note: There has been a change in the Notice, Discussion and Adoption Hearing dates for the 2007-08 Herring Regulations. The updated calendar is as follows:

Fish and Game Commission meeting
Location: Bridgeport Memorial Hall, 75 North School Street, Bridgeport
Time: 8:30 a.m.

This is the Notice Hearing for the Initial Statement of Reasons for Sections 163 and 164, Title 14, CCR (the 2006-07 commercial herring season regulations).

August 10, 2007

Time: 8:30 a.m.

This is the Discussion Hearing for the proposed regulations; public comments will be received on the proposed regulations.

The Commission considers adoption of the proposed regulations. Public comments may be received on the proposed regulations.
