Boundaries: This area is bounded by the mean high tide line, the mouth of the Russian River estuary, and straight lines connecting the following points in the order listed:

38° 27.380' N. lat. 123° 08.580' W. long.;
38° 26.380' N. lat. 123° 08.580' W. long.; and
38° 26.380' N. lat. 123° 07.700' W. long.

Recreational Fishing

Allowed Species: Dungeness crab by trap. Surf smelt by hand-held dip net or beach net.

Prohibited Species: All marine aquatic plants. Invertebrates except Dungeness crab by trap. Finfish except surf smelt by dip-net or beach net.

Commercial Fishing

Allowed Species: Dungeness crab by trap

Prohibited Species: All marine aquatic plants. All invertebrates EXCEPT Dungeness crab. All finfish.

Other Regulations: It is unlawful to injure, damage, take, or possess any living, geological, or cultural marine resource for commercial and/or recreational purposes, except for those listed above.

Note that state and federal sport and commercial fishing regulations apply in addition to MPA regulations.
