The California Department of Fish and Game (DFG) is preparing a management plan and an accompanying Initial Study, in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), for the Carrizo Plain Ecological Reserve. The management plan guides resource management and uses of the Ecological Reserve consistent with DFG's mission.
DFG encourages the public to attend a visioning meeting to learn more about the Carrizo Plain Ecological Reserve, the management plan, and the planning process, and to provide input on the topics and issues to be addressed in the plan and Initial Study. The meeting will be held at the following time and location:

Experts from DFG and the environmental consulting team will be available during the meeting to answer questions about the management plan and the environmental review process. During the meeting, you will be able to comment on the scope of the plan and the Initial Study. Written comment sheets will be provided at the meeting.
