Natural Community Conservation Planning (NCCP)
Plan Summaries
NCCPs in California are addressing conservation on over 11 million acres. To show the diversity and magnitude of conservation planning underway in California, the map below shows three different types of large regional conservation plans: joint HCP/NCCPs; HCPs that are not NCCPs; and other large scale regional conservation efforts that to date are neither HCP nor NCCP. These conservation plans are in various stages of planning or implementation.
