Voluntary Local Program (VLP) – Alameda County
CDFW has opened up a 75 day public comment period for the Voluntary Local Program (VLP) in Alameda County.
VLP is designed to encourage farmers and ranchers engaged in agricultural activities to voluntarily enhance, restore, and maintain habitat for sensitive, candidate, threatened and endangered species that benefit from habitat maintenance and ranching activities.

Any interested person, or his or her authorized representative, may submit written comments relevant to the proposed program. Comments must be received by CDFW no later than 5:00 p.m. on October 1, 2012. All written correspondence must include the true name and mailing address of the commenter.
