Overview

The Steelhead Fishing Report and Restoration Card serves two major roles:
   1) to gather steelhead angling data in order to monitor catch trends over time, and
   2) to generate revenue dedicated specifically to projects that restore California's steelhead habitat and populations.

The revenue from the Report Card pays for investigations that increase our understanding of steelhead so that we more effectively manage steelhead for
   1) protection and restoration of depleted stocks, and
   2) provide recreational opportunities to steelhead anglers.
