Bay Delta Region Hunt Programs

• Delta Island Hunts (registration in November)

  Waterfowl hunts conducted in cooperation with the California Department of Water Resources on state holdings located in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.

• Cañada de los Osos Hunts (register January through October)

  Apprentice deer, wild pig, wild turkey and upland game hunts conducted in cooperation with the California Deer Association at DFG's Canada De Los Osos Ecological Reserve in Santa Clara County.

• Waterfowl Hunting at Eden Landing

  Hunt waterfowl at Eden Landing Ecological Reserve (Hayward) November through January (no registration necessary).

• San Antonio Valley Apprentice Deer and Pig Hunts (registration in mid-August)

  Apprentice deer and wild pig hunts conducted in cooperation with the California Deer Association at DFG’s San Antonio Valley Ecological Reserve in Santa Clara County.

• Lake Sonoma Turkey Hunts (registration in spring and fall)

  Wild turkey hunts conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) on USACE property at Lake Sonoma in Sonoma County.
