The Delta Regional Ecosystem Restoration Implementation Plan (DRERIP) is one of
four regional plans
intended to guide the implementation of the CALFED Ecosystem Restoration Program
(ERP) element. The DRERIP will refine the planning foundation specific to the Delta, refine existing
and develop new Delta
specific restoration actions and provide Delta specific implementation guidance, program tracking, performance
evaluation and adaptive management feedback.
Preparation of the DRERIP is a collaborative effort involving the ERP implementing agencies: Department of Fish
and Game (DFG), NOAA Fisheries, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, as well as the California Bay-Delta
Authority (CBDA) Science Program staff and the ERP Science Board (ERPSB).
The purpose of this website is to update the public on the current status of the DRERIP as development progresses.
Specifically, the website will be used to post sections of, and request public comments on DRERIP sections.
Following completion of the DRERIP this site will evolve into a planning resource for ecosystem restoration
project proponents.
