CDFW Going Green: Creating a More Sustainable Future

On October 29, 2009 a Director’s Bulletin and report, “CDFW Going Green: Reducing Our Carbon Footprint”, were sent out to all staff to help CDFW reduce its carbon footprint and save valuable resources. Following the release of the report there were many inquiries from employees about CDFW’s next steps. In response, the Director issued a second Bulletin on January 19, 2010 that created a Going Green Work Group (Work Group). This work group is helping CDFW to create a vision of sustainability and to identify the next steps towards implementing a strategy to reduce CDFW’s carbon footprint. On this page we highlight CDFW sustainability activities and products in addition to partner highlights and resources.
