CDFW Climate Change Stakeholders Meeting
California Energy Commission Auditorium, Sacramento, CA
September 3, 2009
With the Natural Resources Agency release of the California Climate Adaptation Strategy (CAS) in August 2009 it seems like the perfect time to bring the CDFW climate change stakeholders back together again to talk about the Department's adaptation planning efforts and vision for the coming year. In addition, a significant portion of the meeting focused on discussing opportunities to work collaboratively to be pro-active and put adaptation actions on the ground as we continue to refine and finalize the strategy. This meeting was intended to serve as both an update for partners on CDFW's climate change program activities as well as discussion among the entire group on how we can work together to leverage existing resources and build on new or existing efforts.
