National Adaptation Forum

Action today for a better tomorrow

The Climate Science program of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife worked collaboratively with partners to create and develop the Inaugural National Adaptation Forum: Action today for a better tomorrow. The Forum took place at the Denver Marriott City Center in Denver, CO, April 2-4, 2013 and was a huge success!

Over 500 adaptation practitioners from around the country came together to discuss moving adaptation planning to adaptation action. The National Adaptation Forum (NAF) included opportunities for professional development through formal trainings, facilitated practitioner presentations, and informal exchange of information. The event afforded attendees the opportunity to learn more about how to make their work climate smart, share what they have learned with others, and develop a stronger network of colleagues doing similar work.
